Introduction and Company Overview

Tanweer Group S.A. · Tourism: the Group is in the phase of developing a tourist resort for winter/mountain sports in Kalavryta, Greece, through its Greek affiliate company Tanweer Europe S.A.

· Media: the Group’s activities are covering Television and general Media business. In particular:

TV Content business: the Group is a leading TV content provider in the Middle East (with a 35% market share currently), covering some 17 countries ranging from the Gulf region to Egypt, Lebanon, North Africa and Pakistan.

Through its acquisition and distribution arm, Tanweer Enlightenment Ltd. Corp., the Group is exclusively representing in the Middle East major US Studios and the world’s largest and foremost production companies, including:

Buena Vista Int’l (The Walt Disney Co.), Sony Pictures (Columbia Tri-Star Int’l), Metro Goldwin Mayer (MGM), Carlton America, WIN LCC, Hearst, Fremantle Corporation, Lakeshore, Alfred Haber, Lions Gate Entertainment, Granada International, VGI, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Oasis Int’l, Media International Corporation (MICO/NHK), Southern Star Australia and many others.

Subtitling/dubbing business: the Group counts for the largest facility in the Middle East and is utilized by major broadcasters like Al-Jazeera Channel, MBC, Al-Arabiya Channel and Dubai TV as an accountable outsource unit for their subtitling and dubbing needs.

General Media business, the Group is also involved in Publishing, Advertising and Media activities.
