Here's Confederate General John B. Gordon, the anti-hero from the American Civil War anime film we're attempting to get off the ground. And no, we didn't exaggerate the scar on his face. The man was shot six times, including once in the face, during the Battle of Antietam. In the film, Gordon plays a key roll in thwarting several Union attacks and thus becomes a thorn in the side of our lead characters. Still fishing for financial partners to make this movie a reality. The full page Gordon art below the fold...

Camp Chaos has formed a new partnership with our longtime friends at HEAVY. Part of the relationship includes producing all new episodes of their legendary series Behind the Music That Sucks. We assembled key members of our twisted ILL-ustrated "band" to write and animate these so if you liked the show, you'll love the new BTMTS. New episodes every Monday here.
Awesome urine, R Kelly!

Throughout the winter, we developed materials for what could be the first American-made historical anime movie. As you can tell by the outstanding cel art above (created by artists Elia Filippone and Bill Perkins), it's set during a particularly epic battle from the American Civil War, circa 1864. The story, written by Bob Cesca and John Christian Plummer, follows the real life journal of a 20-year-old Union soldier from a New York regiment, as well as some of the better known commanders of that era.
Stand by for scenes from the animatic coming soon. If you'd like to hear more about this project, let us know.
